Michael Jackson

Bad Tour - Within 16 months, Michael gave 123 concerts, in front of 4.4 million fans, and grossed 125 million Dollars on the Bad Tour, his first tour without his brothers. The tour started with a record-breaking 14 sold out concerts in Yokohama from the 12th September 1987 on, and ended in Los Angeles on 24th January 1989. In the meantime, Michael broke a few records by grossing the highest amount of money ever with his two concerts in Kansas City, and by giving a record-breaking seven sold out concerts in London's Wembley Stadium in front of a total 504.000 fans.

Dangerous Tour - The 67 concerts of the Dangerous Tour led Michael from 27th July 1992 through 11th November 1993 around the world, starting in Munich and ending in Mexico City. The concerts that had been planned after Mexico City had to be cancelled for health reasons. In front of all together 3.5 million fans Michael performed 18 songs, 4 of them from the Dangerous album.

HIStory Tour - In the course of the HIStory Tour, Michael gave 82 concerts in 58 cities, in 35 countries, on five continents, in front of 4.5 million fans. The first leg of the tour started in Prague on 7th September 1996 and ended in Honolulu on 4th January 1997. The second leg began on 31st May 1997 in Bremen (Germany) and ended on 15th October in Durban (South Africa).

The Jacksons

Destiny Tour - The Jacksons started their first World Tour on 22nd January 1979 in Bremen, Germany. They first toured Europe and Africa, and then gave the first of 80 concerts in the USA on 14th April 1979. The tour ended in Washington, D.C.

Triumph Tour - This tour led the Jackson 5 through 39 US cities in the year 1981, starting in Memphis, Tennessee, and ending in Los Angeles, where the Jacksons broke a record by giving four sold out concerts in the city.

Victory Tour - From 6th July through 9th December 1984, the Jackson 5 performed on 55 concerts in the USA and Canada, starting in Kansas City and ending in Los Angeles. More than two million fans saw the group live, and they grossed more than 75 million Dollars. Michael donated his part of the revenue, 5 million Dollars, to charity organizations, because he had disliked the way and price the tickets were sold, and didn't want to benefit from this kind of business. This moreover was Michael's last tour with the Jacksons.

The Jackson 5

The First National Tour - The Jackson 5 started their first tour, which led them all across the USA, on 9th October 1970. This tour also led them to their home town Gary/Indiana on 31st January 1971.
The Second National Tour - Shortly after the end of their first tour, the Jackson 5 hit the road again for their second USA tour, which contained 40 concerts, in summer 1971. On 12th September 1971, this second J5 tour ended in Honolulu.
The Third National Tour - By the end of 1971, the Jackson 5 already set off to another tour through the USA, this time with 50 concerts.
The First International Tour - In the year 1972, the Jackson 5 finally started their first international tour. At the Liverpool Empire they broke the Beatles' record of the biggest audience, and moreover even did the Royal Command Performance in presence of Queen Mom.
National Tour in March 1973 - In March of 1973, the Jackson 5 performed in Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas.
First Japan Tour - The first Jackson 5 tour through Japan took place from 22nd April through 3rd May 1973.
National Tour in May 1973 - During May 1973, the Jackson 5 performed on a number of concerts in the USA.
First Australia Tour - The Jackson 5 had several concerts in AUstralia and New Zealand in June and July 1973. With this, they became the first black band ever to tour Australia.
National Tour - THeir fourth USA tour led the Jackson 5 from Pittsburgh, where the first concert took place on 20th July 1973, all across the states to Honolulu, where the tour ended on 2nd September 1973.
First Africa Tour - For just one week the Jackson 5 toured Africa, starting on 29th January 1974.
MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas - From 9th April through 24th April 1974, the Jackson 5 performed a series of record-breaking shows at the famous MGM Grand Hotel.
International Tour - In the course of May 1974, the Jackson 5 gave a series of concerts in Las Vegas, Chicago, Los Angeles and Europe.
National Tour - In Pittsburgh the Jackson 5 began a series of concerts on 19th July 1974, which ended in Minnesota on 16th August 1974. On 17th August they performed at the World Expo in Spokane, Washington.
MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas - For the second time the Jackson 5 gave a number of concerts at the MGM Grand from 21st August through 3rd September 1974.
First South America Tour - The first Jackson 5 tour through South America started on 4th September 1974 and ended, after concerts in Brazil, Venezuela and many others on 1st October 1974.
First Far East Tour - Their first tour of the Far East from 7th October through 1st November 1974 not only led the Jackson 5 to places like Hong Kong and Japan, but also to Australia and the Phillippines.
MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas - The third series of Jackson 5 concerts at the MGM Grand took place from 20th November to 3rd December 1974.
West Indies Tour - Several concerts were held by the Jackson 5 on the West Indian Islands in January 1975.
Britain Tour - After their concerts during their first international tour, the Jackson 5 returned to Great Britain for a number of concerts in February 1975.
Europe Tour - For two-and-a-half weeks the Jackson 5 toured Europe in 1977, which also included the Royal Command Performance at the 25th anniversary of the Queen.
World Tour - On 22nd January 1978, the Jackson 5 started a tour which included concerts in Europe and the USA.

Il tour è partito dall'europa..e doveva finire negli states se non ci fossero state le accuse!!!e cosi purtroppo il worlt tou si è fermato!!!

L'HIStory tour è durato per quasi due anni...che volevi scusa???! che ti venisse a cantare nella piazza sotto casa?... da me quel giorno c'era Martufello così MJ ha dovuto annullare! [SM=x47940]

incolpa lo stato che lascia gli spazi per far fare i concerti ai Pooh e non a Michael! e poi in Germania era OVVIO che facesse tante date, il promoter era la "MamaConcert" di Marcel Avram che è tedesco...
