Jackson Dailynews Statement Concerning Rumours About New Album
For the past months many rumours concerning the release of Michael Jackson's new album are spreading through the Internet on various web sites and message boards. Some say the album entitled "Resurrection" or "Force" will probably be released around July 25th, 2003, although some other sources indicate September/October which seems more possible.
However, it was officially confirmed to Jackson Dailynews by Michael's management that there is NO new album planned for release in 2003.
Michael Jackson is currently working on some new songs but this does not mean they will be released soon. As fans might know and this was told by Michael himself many times before (he spoke about this in "Private Home Movies" as well) he has about hundred new songs to choose from for the new album, so when we learn about Michael Jackson working on new songs like "Xscape", "Visions", duet with Barry Gibb - these are just another few songs, not planned to be included in the new album. In past Michael wrote about 80 songs for "Invincible", almost half of them were mixed, arranged and composed and as we know only 16 were included in the album.
