Michael wants to buy a castle in Scotland...

From The Daily Record: Pop superstar Michael Jackson has asked a Scots chef to find him a castle in the Highlands. And the reclusive singer told Glasgow's Cafe India boss Raj Bajwe money was no object. Raj became pals with Jacko after The Jackson Five first played in the city and he was asked to cook for them. Jacko enjoyed his food so much he has flown Raj out to his Neverland Ranch in California to cook for stars such as Liz Taylor and Liza Minnelli. Last week, the singer invited Raj to London for a meeting at a top hotel.
Raj said: "He looked me in the eye and said he wanted to buy a castle in Scotland. He said he was serious and loved Scotland and wanted to spend more time there."

One Hebridean hideaway - Amhuinnsuidhe Castle on Harris - has already caught Jacko's eye but he could face tough competition from other stars. Pop queen Madonna and golfer Nick Faldo are also believed to be interested in the £4.5million estate. Covering an area of 50,000 acres, it's owned by cider millionaire Jonathon Bulmer and famed as one of the UK's best salmon fisheries. Bulmer is reputed to be selling the estate to help meet the costs of his divorce from Lady Marcia. But Raj said Jacko had told him to send him details of other suitable properties.

He said: "I'm collecting more brochures and will be posting them out to Michael.

"He said money was no object and he'd let me know the ones he was interested in."
