Ed ecco la solita "Greatest" list compilata da VH1, compilata in base ai sondaggi, o fatti al pubblico, o a gente del campo. Questa volta, sono state chiamate in causa gente del settore, che hanno incoronato Michael Jackson tra i 5 artisti più grandi artisti di sempre, insieme ai Beatles, Bob Dylan, i Led Zeppelin e i Rolling Stones.
La classifica andrà in onda sul VH1 originale il 6 Settembre in 4 puntate, presentate da Jim Shearer. Da noi sarà probabilmente trasmesso sull'MTV gratuito durante l'anno. Solo vedendola scopriremo quale posizione avrà raggiunto il Re del Pop.
La lista dei più grandi artisti di sempre era stata già stilata nel 1998 (la prima "Greatest" list di VH1) e Michael Jackson era alla numero 40.
