Yeardley Smith svela la verità sull'episodio dei Simpsons del 1991

'Simpsons' Bombshell -- The TRUTH About MJ Song!!!
Michael Jackson hand-picked an MJ voice impersonator to sing the famous "Happy Birthday Lisa" song featured on "The Simpsons" back in 1991 ... this according to Lisa herself, Yeardley Smith.
Smith was outside the Red O restaurant in L.A. this weekend, when she explained, "[Michael] was not allowed to sing on the show, so he literally hand-picked a guy to sing like him."
During the famous episode, "Stark Raving Dad," Michael provided the voice to a mental patient who thought he was MJ ... but according to reports, Jackson's record label blocked MJ from singing the Lisa birthday song.
MJ ultimately selected a man named Kipp Lennon -- and Yeardley explains, "How unnerving would it be to sing like Michael Jackson in front of Michael Jackson?"
We called Kipp to find out -- so far, no response.

Michael Jackson ha trovato un suo sosia vocale per cantare il famoso "Happy Birthday Lisa" la canzone presente in "The Simpsons" del 1991 ... questo secondo Lisa stessa, Yeardley Smith.
La Smith era fuori dal ristorante Red O a Los Angeles questo fine settimana, quando ha spiegato, "[Michael] non è stato permesso di cantare nello show, così ha letteralmente trovato un ragazzo capace di cantare come lui."
Durante l'episodio famoso, "Stark Raving Dad," Michael ha fornito la voce ad un malato mentale che credeva di essere MJ ... ma secondo quanto riferito, l’etichetta discografica di Jackson ha bloccato MJ nel cantare la canzone di compleanno per Lisa.
MJ infine ha scelto un uomo di nome Kipp Lennon - e Yeardley spiega: "Come sarebbe snervante cantare come Michael Jackson di fronte a Michael Jackson?"

Non capisco perchè se MJ ha potuto dare la voce al personaggio non poteva anche cantare "Happy Birthday Lisa", mi sembra un pò eccessiva come restrizione da parte dell'etichetta discografica...
