Ecco un altro bel punto da rivedere. Lo avrei detto quando avrei postato la chart di Billboard, ma a questo punto credo sia meglio anticipare. Billboard ha rinnovato il suo sito rendendo visibili al 100% gratis le charts delle sue classifiche più importanti: la Billboard Hot 100 e la Billboard 200, però.....è successo qualcosa di spiacevole. La maggior parte delle classifiche a 100, che permetteva la visualizzazione gratuita di 50 posizioni, si è ridotta a 15, son comparse si nuove charts gratuite che prima erano a pagamento (sempre smezzate), ma a quale prezzo? Le Catalog/Recurrents Charts genere per genere per album e singolo sono state tutte eliminate!!! Hanno salvato solo la Top Pop Catalog Chart ridenominadola Catalog Chart. Tra queste è scomparsa anche la Top Comprehensive, molte altre Digital Charts......sinceramente non ne capisco il motivo, però è facile notare che ora sul database siano presenti molte meno classifiche. Certo, per alcune è buono, dato che non aveva senso avere charts molto simili e per giunta con nomi simili, ma non vedo il motivo di eliminare la Top Comprehensive e le Catalog per ogni genere. Io penso che forse queste ci siano ancora, ma sono disponibili solo per chi è abbonato o compra il magazine, dato che gli album catalogati hanno suscitato maggiore attenzione degli album nuovi.
