Non capisco molto l'utilità di questa "mossa", ma tant'è...
Posso rivelare in esclusiva che la Sony Music rilascerà due nuove collezioni di Michael Jackson in quella che viene indicata come la
“Michael Jackson Global iTunes Campaign”.
Anche se con qualche giorno di ritardo, la campagna - che partirà in tutto il mondo il
28 giugno 2013 - è destinata a commemorare il quarto anniversario della morte di Jackson.
Il primo set della campagna, denominato
“The Indispensable Collection”, è un pacchetto completo che presenta tutti e sei gli album solisti da adulto di Michael Jackson con CBS/Sony, da "Off The Wall" del 1979 a "Invincible" del 2001, e per la prima volta in un cofanetto o una ripubblicazione il disco due dell'album di Jackson del 1995 "HIStory".
Inoltre incluso nel "The Indispensable Collection" ci sarà l'album recentemente pubblicato campionato live dalla leggendaria performance del 1988 del Bad Tour di Jackson allo stadio di Wembley, e "Blood On The Dance Floor/HIStory In The Mix" del 1997.
Aggiornamento: il secondo set si chiama
"The Ultimate Fan Extras Collection" - composto da 162 brani tra cui mix alternativi, remix, versioni live, strumentali, megamix e demo e brani non-album - per lo più si trovano in collezioni rilasciate in precedenza come "Bad 25", "Immortal" e "The Ultimate Collection".
Purtroppo l'accoglienza di "The Ultimate Fan Extras Collection" sarà probabilmente contaminata all'interno dei circoli dei fan a causa dell'inclusione delle tre controverse tracce Cascio, che sono ampiamente considerate da molti in tutto il mondo, inclusa la famiglia di Jackson, come pezzi fasulli che presentano la voce di un imitatore di Michael Jackson.
Le due collezioni, come si vede qui sotto, saranno vendute esclusivamente tramite iTunes. Non ne è prevista la vendita al dettaglio come CD fisico.
