LOS ANGELES, June 10 /U.S. Newswire/ -- A dynamic new synergy is developing in the music world as Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, announced today a new partnership with music business legend Charles Koppelman.

Koppelman, Chairman and CEO of CAK Entertainment, will advise on a variety of new and exciting music and business ventures for Michael; including releases that may be on the market by the end of the year. Koppelman is uniquely qualified to work with Michael given his four decades of experience in the music industry and ties to the financial community.

Koppelman got his start in the music business with famed publisher Don Kirshner. While at Columbia records Koppelman's ear for talent led to the success of such soon to be stars as Billy Joel, Journey, Janis Ian and Phoebe Snow. During the late 1970's and early 1980's, he guided the music careers of Barbra Streisand, Tracy Chapman, Dolly Parton, Glen Campbell, and many others. In the 1980's his company SBK Entertainment World became the world's largest independent music publisher.

Ever the innovator, Koppelman and his partners sold SBK Entertainment and started SBK records, releasing multi-platinum debut albums from Wilson-Phillips, Vanilla Ice, Technotronic, Jon Secada, and D'Angelo. In the 1990's he masterminded the release of Frank Sinatra's 20 million sellers "Duets". At EMI / Capitol Records, he supervised the careers of Bonnie Raitt, Garth Brooks, Arrested Development and Sinead O'Conner. After restructuring at EMI in the late 1990's Koppelman stepped down and diversified his activities through CAK Entertainment.

Buono , anche se a dire il vero preferirei leggere di una collaborazione tra Michael e artisti di spessore mentre invece lui per tornare alla grande si affida sempre e comunque ai produttori......

...è un manager dello show business...

sì è vero, scusate...peggio ancora cmq:la carriera si risolleva con l'arte pura e non coi produttori e manager...

...qualcuno che ti promuova al meglio, se vuoi essere un artista "pop" ovvio, ci vuole...Frank Di Leo era un genio, discutibile ma pur sempre un genio...

Certo che ci deve essere..Pietro lo volevi senza menager...?
Poi pare che questo tizio sia uno dei piu' importanti....e ovviamente il fatto che lavorera' esclusivamente per Michael e' da tener conto...

Ma per adesso ho visto un casino di cambiamenti,manager etc...ma risultati ancora zero.. sperem nel futuro
