Troubled pop star MICHAEL JACKSON is reportedly frantically selling off his menagerie of tigers, elephants and orangutans in a bid to pay off his massive debts. The BEAT IT singer, who is speculated to be $250 million (GBP150 million) in debt, has had to shut down the house on his Neverland Ranch, and is desperately trying to raise cash. An insider tells British newspaper The Mirror, "Michael's fortune is nothing like it used to be. "He's desperate for cash and is offering the animals for a fraction of what they're really worth. He needs money fast." Earlier this month (16MAR06), Jackson was under fire from Neverland employees who demanded $306,000 (GBP180,000) after complaining they hadn't received a pay packet since 19 December (05). People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) activists subsequently wrote to the singer, begging him to relocate the exotic animals on the California ranch after learning it had been closed down.

Michael Jackson sta disperatamente cercando di vendere i suoi animali. Ha bisogno di liquidi subito, per questo li vende a un prezzo irrisorio rispetto al loro vero valore.


Siccome questa news è tratta dal The Mirror, ho dei dubbi che sia esattamente vera, comuque credo che Micheal sti vendedo poco a poco tutto quello che c'è Neverland, visto che l'ha chiusa.

Secondo il "Mirror" , Michael sta vendendo gli animali di Neverland sottocosto per arrivare in fretta a soldi liquidi:
Li avrebbe offerti al produttore "V for Vendetta"

- 2 giraffe per 11.000dollari (valore effettivo una giraffa 45.000)
- le tigri per 6.500 dollari/cad. (valore effettivo il triplo o anche il quadruplo)
- 2 elefanti a 15.000 dollari/cad "
- 1 coccodrillo per 2.000 dollari "

No, perchè ha chiuso neverland, quindi anche lo zoo, e non ha senso che gli animali rimangano li, per i quali deve pagre la manutenzione.

ma secondo te è vero che vende gli animali sottocosto? ma mi dici come fa il mirror a sapere i prezzi?!?? ma poi ragionate un pò quando lo vedete in bancarotta...io non voglio difenderlo inq eusto caso perchè cmq son contraria a come usa i suoi soldi in certe occasioni, ma caspita, guadagna miliardi all'anno a prescindere per il semplice fatto che ha i diritti dei beatles e i suoi, + le continue uscite di robba vecchia che vendono tanto lo stesso...COME PUO' ESSERE IN UNA SITUAZIONE COSI' TRAGICA????

Sources tell me Michael Jackson has taken to asking for food because he is no longer able to afford it.

As you know my dear readers, Michael left his animals and staff months ago to die of starvation. Now it looks like he and his children are suffering the same fate.

What is most shocking is how Jackson is asking for food according to my flies on the wall. It seems Jackson has learnt a trick or two from the mother of his last accuser. Jackson pretends he is interested in the house of some unsupecting family, ofcourse he obviously can't afford the house due to his trillion dollar debt which he is due to pay back tomorrow, and gets invited in. Then he hangs around so long that the poor family in the end ask him if he wants to stay for dinner.

Sources tell me Jackson and the Prince of Bahrain have had another falling out and this is the reason why Jackson has taken desparate measures to feed him and his family. But my sources also say that his sister Janet is willing to bail her brother out yet again and is sending some food stamps over to him sometime this week.

Freidman dice che Michael è talmente povero che non ha soldi per mangiare... dice che fa continuamente continua a far finta di essere interessato alla casa di qualcuno (che ovviamente non può perettersi) e che sta talemnte a lungo che la famiglia alla fine lo invita a cena.
Ma perchè non lo fanno stare zitto, che sono ste fonti, qui tutti i passanti c'hanno il telefono di Friedman, che vada a farsi un giro a New York magari lo vede.

Michael Jackson shares dinner with Bahraini family


Dubai (ANTARA News) - An offer by Michael Jackson to buy a Bahraini
businessman's house ended up with the "King of Pop" sharing dinner with his family and making new friends but not buying the prized property, sources in Bahrain told the local newspaper Gulf News.

"Michael was being chauffeured in the Saar area (in Manama) when he spotted a house he liked. He did not hesitate to call on the family and ask them if they were willing to sell their house," the source told the Dubai-based Gulf News.

"The family, astonished by the unexpected appearance of the superstar and amused by the offer, told him the house was not for sale, but that he was welcome to share their dinner," added the source saying that Jackson's visit lasted about four hours.

Jackson, who has lived in Bahrain since June following his acquittal on child molestation charges in California wants to settle permanently in the kingdom. He is staying in a large villa but wants to buy a mansion, said the paper.

"He is in much better shape now and has been going out more. Last week, he visited several malls in Manama," the sources said.

The 47-year-old star watched the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 12 from the VIP tower and was quoted as saying that he liked the race, the first he has ever seen live in his life.

His sister La Toya on Saturday said that "he is doing really well and he is happy with where he is."

She also confirmed he did not intend to return to his fantasy Californian estate Neverland.

Since his arrival in Bahrain, the pop-star has been seen several times in shopping malls in Bahrain and neighbouring Dubai. (*)

Michael facendo un giro a Manama notò una casa che gli piaceva, non esitò quindi a chiamare per sapere se il propietario aveva intenzione di vendere la sua casa. Il proprietario, un noto buisnessman, ha risposto che non la casa non era in vendita, ma lo ha invitato a cena.
