POP star Michael Jackson is to visit Namibia at the weekend.
It will be his third trip to the country.
Although details about Jackson's visit were sketchy yesterday, State House confirmed that the 'King of Pop' was scheduled to hold private talks with President Sam Nujoma tomorrow.
Jackson is currently battling charges in the United States that he molested a young boy seen in a controversial British television documentary, which was filmed partly at Jackson's Neverland Valley Ranch in Santa Barbara County.
Yesterday, the Reuters news agency reported that police were investigating claims by an unidentified man that Jackson allegedly molested him in Los Angeles in the late 1980s.
When he first visited Namibia, in 1998, Jackson and his business partner Don Barden showed an interest in investing in Namibia.
But so far no business is known to have been established in Namibia by the pop star.
Jackson and Barden had planned to establish a multi-million-dollar shopping complex at the Oshikango Export Processing Zone, at the border with Angola.
