Visto che c'ero ho risentito tutta la traccia con attenzione e ho trovato robetta da affinare. In più ho aggiunto un po' di punteggiatura in ogni dove e ho cercato di dare un senso logico per assonanza e contesto alle parole indecifrabili. Questo testo dovrebbe essere più preciso. Invito comunque chi può (E magari sa bene l'inglese e traduce spesso gli articoli su questo forum, ogni riferimento a fatti/persone è puramente casuale! ) a dare una sentita oppure un'occhiata almeno alla logica del testo, di cui non sono contentissimo:

Ho provato a tradurre "Al Capone" in maniera molto ma molto libera, in modo da dare un senso simile a quello alla versione inglese anche al testo in italiano. Purtroppo anche nella nostra lingua si nota come i soggetti delle frasi non siano perfetti (Si passa da un lui a una lei più volte, segno che probabilmente la trascrizione non è perfetta oppure che si parla di due soggetti diversi, ma è più probabile la prima ipotesi). Finché non avrò un testo inglese migliore, scusatemi e se possibile accontentatevi di questo.

Perchè l'hai lasciato fuggire?
Dopo averlo fissato (mentre fuggiva?) che hai da dire?
Mi ha sparato (proiettili) e freddo come il ghiaccio
E' rimasto a fissarmi per poi riportarti (Credo da Al Capone).

Anche a me torna poco il "no my man", nel testo che ho copiato ho lasciato il "normal" (quelli che circolano in rete riportano tutti "another", non mi pare proprio che dica così, ma ricordiamoci che è il signor Jackson che canta )

Mah non so, non riesco a sentire i nomi dei fratelli, ma magari mi sbaglio io. Per assurdo, potrebbe essere pure un soprannome, di chi faceva lo scemo in sala non ne ho idea davvero al momento.


Vi spiego come avevo inteso quel "no my man": credo che lui appiccichi tanto le parole e quindi, non pronunciandole separatamente, non si capisce, ma è come se lui avesse un interlocutore (my man) a cui sta raccontando la situazione:

ma siccome quel No è l'unica cosa che non mi convince, l'altra opzione potrebbe essere

Posso esprimermi senza sembrare saccente?

Se questo è il contenuto del booklet e non la traduzione della tua amica americana, in tutta franchezza credo che abbiano messo uno sbarbatello con una cuffia sottomarca della sottomarca (o peggio con due casse col riverbero) ad ascoltare in modo pienamente superficiale ogni canzone. I puntini anche nel booklet ufficiale poi sono l'apoteosi.

Ci sono poi alcune frasi che NON HANNO SENSO:

Non prenderlo perchè dentro c'è Al Capone.

Non sapevo che Al Capone fosse tascabile.

(Tralasciando il fatto che MJJ palesemente non canta quella frase)

Adesso capisco perchè c'è solo nella versione giappa il testo. Da noi come in USA non hanno avuto il coraggio di rifilarlo data la massiccia presenza di gente che parla bene inglese (come anche di madrelingua). In giappolandia a parte i reduci di Pearl Harbour e i turisti...

No,lei ha solo trascritto le parole sul forum americano, copiate dal booklet della versione Jap.
Comunque anche lei e le altre (madrelingua) fanno fatica a capire alcune parole.
